How To Join Grand Girls Assembly State of Ohio

How To Join

Grand Girls Assembly (GGA) welcomes young ladies who are interested in leadership development, personal growth, community service, and building lifelong sisterhood. Through structured programming and dedicated mentorship, GGA provides a supportive environment that encourages confidence, responsibility, and positive character development.

Becoming a Princess

Girls become members of Grand Girls Assembly through a local Assembly sponsored by the Amaranth Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star (PHA), State of Ohio. As Princesses, members participate in leadership development activities, educational programs, community service initiatives, and district and state events designed to support their growth.

To begin the process:

  1. Express Interest
A parent or guardian, or a prospective Princess, may express interest by contacting a local Assembly or District leadership to learn more about membership opportunities.

  2. Connect with a Local Assembly
Membership is facilitated through an established Assembly led by a
Mother Advisor and Assistant Mother Advisors who provide guidance, supervision, and mentorship.

  3. Complete the Application Process
Prospective Princesses complete the required membership forms and receive information regarding expectations, participation requirements, and program activities.

  4. Begin Participation
Once accepted, Princesses are encouraged to actively participate in meetings, leadership development sessions, service projects, and special events at the local, district, and state levels.

Adult Involvement – Mother Advisors, Assistant Mother Advisors, and Parent Volunteers

Grand Girls Assembly is supported by committed adult leaders who ensure that each Assembly operates in a safe, structured, and mission-aligned manner.

Mother Advisors and Assistant Mother Advisors must be members in good standing of an Amaranth Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star (PHA), State of Ohio. These advisors serve as the primary leaders of the Assembly and are responsible for mentorship, program oversight, administration, and adherence to organizational policies and standards.

In addition to advisory leadership, Parent Volunteers play an important supportive role within Grand Girls Assembly. Parent Volunteers are generally parents or guardians of a Princess and may assist with activities, events, transportation, and program support under the direction of the Mother Advisor team. Parent Volunteers do not serve in advisory leadership roles but contribute to the success of the Assembly through active involvement and service.

Our Commitment

Grand Girls Assembly is committed to cultivating leadership, integrity, service, and confidence in young women. Through intentional programming and strong adult mentorship, GGA provides opportunities for Princesses to grow academically, socially, and personally while developing the skills needed to become responsible and engaged community leaders.
